Service Dogs
Many of Gillian's best friends are dogs. It makes sense then that Flutter’s owner is also passionate about dogs trained to help people with disabilities. A portion of our profits will go to service dog training schools that train dogs to be companions for people with disabilities, particularly those with impaired senses, and help them fully participate and navigate the world in which we live. Service dogs give their companions confidence and independence, so they can be their best selves and reach their full potential, which is something we at Flutter are very passionate about. Over the next year, for every pair of glasses we sell, Flutter will donate $.50 to Canine Companions for Independence, up to a total of $50,000 in donations.
Canine Companions for Independence is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disability by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.
